Prayer Info

Prayer items: we have several who are experiencing pain, disease, and Covid-19 right now. Please be praying for one another. Prayer is our direct access to the Father through His Son, Jesus.

Be praying for Hal and Karen Schatz, Shirley Dorsey, Chris Lisle, Paula, Marilyn, Mike, Lesa, Mary Jane, and others/

God is sovereign in all things and will hear and answer our prayers. James 5 reminds us that the prayers of the righteous are powerful and effective. Let’s keep praying!

Pray for Covid-19 Relief

Please be asking God to rid our World of the Coronavirus. This “thing” has been bad and seems to be on an upswing as well. Stay well and be cautious.

Closer to home, we have had one church member who has tested positive. Only one, Please be vigilant and take precautions. We will not live in fear, but, we must use the brains and good sense that God has given us.

We are asking people to wear masks in church for the safety and peace of others. We need to respect our brothers and sisters. It’s like the passage that refers to us being a stumbling block for others. Don’t let our actions cause people to stay away from church and fellowship with other believers.

Beaver Lake Fellowship

Saturday, July 18, 2020, we have the Pavilion (Group Shelter) reserved for us at Starkey Park.  The pavilion is right by the water, near the boat launch and marina, and close to a swimming beach.  We will have the charcoal  grill ready for supper around 5:30 to 6 PM.  The church will provide hotdogs and hamburgers if you will supply the sides.  And cookies.   Remember the heat.  Bring and drink plenty of water.  We will have water, cups, ice and other beverages available.  We have the pavilion all day, but figured a few hours in the sun would be enough.  We will be at the pavilion by 1 PM to host and shuttle people around.

If you have a boat on Beaver Lake (or near) Would you consider making it available in the afternoon for boat rides and skiing?  Thank you so much.  After supper we will have a time of worship with Ryan Soria who was with us a few weeks ago.  He will also be with us Sunday Morning for worship.

Let’s have some fun and fellowship by the lake Saturday, July 18.  More information at church this Sunday.

Pot Providence and Baby Shower

This coming Sunday, July 12, 2020 will be our Pot Providence day.  We will have distanced tables for family groups and food.  Please bring a mask to wear at the food tables.  We  will provide gloves for everyone and hand sanitizer to keep you and the serving spoons clean.  We look forward to having a great time.  If you are not ready, please don’t stay and will are with you.

Also, we will be having a baby shower for two soon to be born babies.  (haven’t said that in years)  We are excited about the new lives coming to Amanda and Justin Capps (boy) and Rickki and Kevin Hutchinson (girl).  We will have a baby shower for them after our Pot Providence time.  Please bring a gift for a boy and girl if you can.  We are excited about our new extended families.  Justin and Amanda are the children of Jim and Louise Capps and Jim and Christina McDonald.  Rikki is the daughter of Rick Schlotz.

Hope to see all of you this Sunday for Bible Study and Worship followed by Pot Providence and baby shower.
